Oh. My. Gosh! I was browsing around, and found the new Valentino Autumn Collection! It is sooo nice! I am fortunate enough to own a real Valentino bag, which I couldn’t believe was real myself! Some interesting news about Valentino, is that it was bought out this Thursday by the Royal Family of Qatar for a reported £550… Million! It is the second renowned Italian design firm, to be bought out by the Gulf’s investors. The company’s founder – Valentino Garavani – signed his last collection in 2008, and 10 years before that he had sold the company for £195m, to an Italian conglomerate. The work of ‘Valentino’ are now in the hands of Maria Grazia Chiur & Pierpaolo Picciolo, who worked with Garavani before his retirement.
