I haven’t really done much Celebrity Fashion recently, so I guess, The London Evening Standard Awards 2012 will do nicely! Yes, pretty much everyone was there. Including Bon actresses (sorry, no Daniel Craig, I don’t think!), to the brilliant Bill Nighy (again, sorry. I love him! He is brilliant!) and then to Tinie Tempah. So here a few snaps, and a whizz on my favourite looks… (Pictures from The Telegraph)
Ruth Wilson in Dior Haute Couture – I love this look! Adding the hot pink dress with the black trousers, creates a smart yet, amazing party look!
Bill Nighy – Sorry! I just couldn’t resist. I love him! (In a great actor, funny way)…
Cara Delvigne – The big model at the moment, stuns in this brilliant black dress and see-through sleeves. Stunning.
Anna Wintour – Last by not least! The amazing, US Vogue Editor, Anna Wintour! She (well her documentary ‘The September Issue), actually made me think of a great baby name… weird, but true…!
Anyway, so there’s the Evening Standard Awards round up! Thanks guys, and enjoy the rain (here and in the UK!)
Well, this may not be a hit on the Autumn/Winter 12/13 Catwalk, but it is a hit every Christmas time. But! The problem is, how do we work them, when going out and about? How do we turn the embarrassment of having a Rudolph on your jumper, into something which people will think, ‘That looks so cool.’? Well, I am here to solve your fashion problems! Here we go…
Red Christmas Fairisle Jumper £35.00 (River Island)
LOOK 1: Black Denim Amelie Super Skinny Jeans £20.00, Black Stud Boots £40.00 & Red Waffle Snood £15.00.
LOOK 2: Dark Purple Peplum Skirt £25.00, Black Block Print Scarf £18.00, Black Leopard Print Panel Wedge Ankle Boots £35.00 & Purple Diamante Ball Stud Earrings £5.00.
Now, as you know The Blogger Trend is big this season, so I decided to take you down a trip of getting inspired. So, I am welcoming you to my workspace and bedroom…
Pin Boards & Instagram Walls are so easy to create. I bought my Pin Board back in the UK, for under £4 at Staples, and just got a bunch of pins. I stick on To Do lists, things I would love to own, places I would love to go, magazine clippings, labels, and other cool stuff, including a piece of candy rock, and a mini shoe keyring! To create in Instagram Wall, all you have to do is create an account, take some snaps, and print them out, and then, obviously, stick them up!
Everything! Oh, and my Dr Marten poster!
Yep! I have a Dr Marten poster! It is to keep me dreaming of owning a pair! I also have my Access All Areas pass from the Clothes Show London 2011, and a dollar note up there. Interesting… but, it looks cool, and it keeps me cool – by that, I mean thinking & dreaming cool stuff!
Sorry, I just couldn’t resist! I love this birthday ‘cat’ that I got this year, it’s so cute! Also, I love the clipping I cut out of the ‘Fashion’s Most Wanted’.
I love my Dr Marten’s poster! I also love, cute cartoon things, like this Make-Up case! It’s great for holding stuff that you don’t use all the time, and also a cute decoration! Also, here’s another picture of my Instagram Wall, just so you can see the sorts of things I like to show off! Ha!
To make your room extra colourful, and quirky, just add some cute flirty decorations! I love it! Also, things I do like to put on my Instagram Wall, are pictures of cool items, my cat, my sister – as I miss her so much 😉 – and anything generally well Instagramed.
So, there you have it! An insight into how I get inspired, and I like to show off my style. Oh, and when my room is painted, I will do a tour of my room 😉 Also, if you want to know some of my favourite online Pinboards, here they are…
Pinterest – I love the ease of it, but it is mostly public, and public sharing.
Springpad – I prefer this for private sharing, and private notebooks. I like making up notebooks to help friends think of ideas for their bedrooms etc.
This A/W 12/13 Season, Lace is a big hit! The wonderful patterns and fabrics, can be worked so well. I (a fashion blogger) am, in love with this trend! If you want to go girly girl sweet, you can! If you want to go Gothic-ly Gorgeous, you can! Take a look at this outfit to get inspired this Winter 12/13 Season!Lace Dress £60.00 (Next), SCALA High Heels £22.00 (ASOS), Aldo Stellfox Shopper Bag £31.50 (ASOS) & Oasis Set of Three Earrings £10.00 (ASOS).
This outfit is very glamourous, and great for you ladies who love going to work in style! It is surprisingly cheap, and it is all from the High Street! With the make-up go for quite a nude tone, don’t go too bright because you want the dress to be on the main stage.
This Spring 13′ will bring a massive trend, which has already started. Red & Black! No, not the telly programme presented by Ant & Dec, but the colour Red & Black. You can see it all over the catwalk, and here’s a sneak peek, plus some of my favourite pieces from the high street, which I know you’ll love! So, here’s your Spring 13 Fashion Trend Update…
This look is easy to create, and these designers have done it using another great trend,’The Big Frizz!‘ I think I prefer the House of Holland look best, because it’s kind of under ‘The Blogger’ trend. Also, I love the shoes! Anyway, here’s my favourite high street pieces…
Drop Waist Ponte Scallop Dress £45.00 (Oasis), Aztec Midi Tank Dress £32.00 (Topshop), Feather Hem Dress £13.00 (Warehouse), Red Christmas Fairisle Jumper £35.00 (River Island), Cambrige Satchel Company Black Leather Satchel £90.00 (ASOS) & TIGER Studded Wedge Shoe Boots £65.00 (ASOS).
My 2 favourite pieces out of this, are the River Island Christmas Jumper, and Oasis dress. They are so cute and simple! I can imagine snuggling up by the fire in that jumper, and then going out into the cold with a nice warm black coat in the dress!
Yes, it’s the new big competition in the modelling world. Will Miranda Kerr out run Kate Moss? The new girl on the seen (Well, if you like to call modelling since you were 13 ‘new!’) is giving Kate Moss a run for her money! Next season, see’s the Baby Face, Victoria’s Secret Angel, Miranda take on the role of the Mango Model for the Spring 13 Campaign. Kate Moss was modelling for Mango, for the past 3 seasons, but now things have changed around. Now, except from Kate’s new biography & documentary (I know, it’s been a very long wait…), do you think it won’t be long until Kate Moss is only seen in the history books? Well, the other day I did a ‘Fashion-Off’ between the females of the I’m A Celebrity Jungle, and actually I’m going to use that again! Let the games begin…
I’m going to leave this one to you guys… Enter the poll below…

I was browsing around looking for the next Hunger Games release date, when I came across a picture of the stunning, Jennifer Lawrence, and I decided to do a CSC on her. Now, I couldn’t find a skirt the same, so I had to use an ordinary pleated Maxi Skirt, but this look is great anyway!
Cream Pleated Maxi Skirt £35.00 (River Island), Black Stripe Knit Keyhole T-Shirt £8.99 (New Look), FINISH Leather Flat Sandals £15.00 (ASOS), New Look Stud Backpack £24.99 (ASOS) & Retro Sunglasses £12.00 (ASOS).
I love Jennifer Lawrence! I seriously cannot wait until next November! But, this look is so easy to do, just add some red lippy! You can also do this under a budget, just buy the maxi dress and add one of your old baggy t-shirts from home, and a pair of flip flops, and your done! Also, who loves her hair? Hands Up? See, all of us! I would die for her hair 🙂 and… her tan! 🙂 So naturally stunning is the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence…!!

I know that a lot of people find it very hard to match skin tones to make-up so here is my guide on ‘How To Find Your Perfect Make-Up Match!’ This is not a foundation guide, it is purely for eye make-up, the lips and blusher etc 🙂
Light: Bourjois Smokey Eyes Nude Ingenu £7.99, Accessorize Lip Stick Velvet Pink £4.95 & Bourjois Pastel Joues Blusher Rose Frisson £7.49
Mid Tone: Look Triple Hit Trio Eye Shadow La Luxe £7.50, 2true Plumptuous Lip Gloss No 3 Clear Shimmer £1.99 & Bourjois Blush Pastel Joues Rose De Jaspe £7.49
Dark: Accessorize Merged Eyeshadow Golden Brown £3.95, Accessorize Lip Stick Coral Crush £4.95 & MEMEME Blush Box 1 Coral £8.50
For Light Skin, I believe you should add a bit of colour but not too much, otherwise it will make you look a bit like a barbie doll, and a bit too done up. On the eyes, play it simple with a soft smokey eye; On the cheeks, create a natural blush with a pretty pink colour, and on the lips, go for a matte red, or a darker pink.
For Mid Tone Skin, Plum is your answer! On the lips add a dark plum colour which will make your lips look plump and soft, as well as on the eyes. For the cheeks, use a natural skin tone colour, or a reddish brown. Don’t go to bright, but you can use red or dark browns, which will look great for any special event.
For Dark Skin Tones, use red for the lips, especially if you have a naturally dewy skin. Don’t use red if you have an oily skin, dewy and oily are different! For the cheeks, play it all natural, or go for a natural red. On the eyes, go golden brown, it will look natural, but also bring out your eyes.
I created the make-over pictures at Taaz.com, where you can give yourself, or these model pictures, a make-over, they are great help!
