New Trend: Pretty in Purple

By July 20, 2012 Fashion

I haven’t done a new trend for a while but with all the Autumn/Winter collections coming out, it is really easy to find new trends… and Pretty in Purple is just one of them! Yes, Purple is the colour to rock this new season, and I love it! You can wear so many things with this colour, and look great. Here’s the trend on the catwalk…

Purple was rocked by big names including, Prada, Gucci & Versace.

This is an outfit I have compiled, which uses the new trend, just like the designers. Through the Suit.

Floral Flocked Peplum Skirt £32.00, Shirt With Scalloped Collar £15.00, Ponti Blazer with Notch Lapel £40.00, PIKA Suede High Heels £50.00 & River Island Croc Mini Satchel £30.00 (All from ASOS).

Putting 2 different types of 1 colour together looks great! I love how also, putting the same colour, layered on top of each other, looks great too! This Peplum Skirt gives the look a classier edge to it!

Opening of New York Boutique Store ‘Opening Ceremony’ in London

By July 20, 2012 Fashion

Yes, I am back! I have had a short break and ready to start to some more posts and fresh things!

I came across this, and I love it! Opening Ceremony is a new Boutique from New York. It is really fresh and funky, and you can now visit a pop-up store in London’s Covent Garden. One day I would love to have stores quite similar to this, but a completely different take on the clothes. I love the ideas they have, and you have to visit there site. If you are someone like me, then you will love it! It is bright, funky, and totally cool! The store is for Men, Women & Kids, and most of the clothing in the store is all for the London Store, so what is there, is only there. Take a look > Opening Ceremony (US).

Opening Ceremony Covent Garden

I love the style and I think it works so well with the Olympics! And the stairs! I love that idea! It is super cool, and new!  If you can’t read it, it says…

HEY YOUNG LONDON, YOU’RE THE BRIGHTEST STAR SO YOU RIDE ABOUT GOT TO GET THAT FAR, WELL, I’VE READ YOUR FACE AND SEEN YOUR PLACE and you’ll let me in if I share your tastes YOU KNOW THE NIGHT SPOTS IF YOU WANNA STAY HIP HEY YOUNG LONDON YOU’RE A BRIGHT YOUNG THING …..

Rock the Bralet!

By July 14, 2012 Fashion

Now, I have done a post about the trend of Bralets before, but I just wanted to re-cap on how to work it, and what to wear with a Bralet. So here you go.

Here are three Bralets, which are all £30.00 & Under!

Black Bandage Bralet £30.00 (River Island), Rose Print Corset £30.00 (Topshop), Yumi Pink Stripe Bralet £17.00 (Newlook.com)

And this how you can work a couple of them…

Black Bandage Bralet £30.00 (River Island), Black Pencil Skirt £20.00 (River Island), Black 3/4 Sleeve Blazer £35.00 (River Island), Scala High Heels £22.00 (ASOS), Rocco Articulated Statement Necklace £15.00 (ASOS) & Mega Stud Bracelet £15.00 (ASOS).

This Black Bralet can be worked very Professionally, just by mixing it with a classy pair of heels, and gold chunky accessories. Perhaps not for the office, but for those hot sunny days, after work!

Rose Print Corset £30.00 (Topshop), Moto Sparkle Bleach Hotpants £34.00 (Topshop), Seed Bead Pearl Cuff £12.50 (Topshop), Pika Suede High Heels £50.00 (ASOS) & River Island Coral Logo Purse £17.00 (ASOS).

This Bralet is really cute, and would look great with these heels. Look forward to the sun with these shorts, which look great with longer legs!
