After seeing the cutepolish tutorial on Chevron Nail Art, I came up with an idea! In my ‘Art Room’, as we call it, there are tones of stickers, and scrapbook things, so I delved into a box, and found some funky stickers. If you want to know what I did with them, look below…
If you haven’t seen ‘cutepolish‘ on YouTube already, you must. There are loads of videos for nail art, and they are all so good. This video, I especially liked because you don’t have to go out and buy nail art tools. I tried it out, and found it quite hard, so maybe you guys could try it out, and see how you get on with it.
If you get chance do it yourself, please tell me how it went by commenting, or even tweet me at @TollyDollyPosh.
I did quite a few pieces, but not many showed up, I think I will try a few more with a little bit more help! The blue worked best, but I didn’t want to put too much on because my hair is quite light, meaning it could stain. I will put up a better picture so you can see what it looks like when you have spent a little bit more time on it!
I have been dying to do this for ages, and I tried with my sister last Christmas, but we got the wrong Chalks 🙁 Finally, I have the right ones, and here is a simple tutorial on how to do it yourself! Before you take a look though, here are a few Tips….
1. If you have blonde hair, do not use the water technique.
2. Make sure when you have the chalk in, that you don’t wear best clothes, because it can come off.
3. When applying the chalk, make sure you have plenty of towels around you!
4. If you are not sure whether or not your hair will just stain. Try it out on a tiny bit of hair, and wash it out afterwards.
5: DO NOT USE Oil Pastels! Use Soft Pastels which you can get from most Craft & Art shops.
So here we go…
Recently the amount of Nail Art tools, and accessories have gone up like a rocket, and so have the price. So, I came up with an idea which is very cheap. A DIY Dotting Tool…
I love finding DIY Vlogs on Youtube, especially when they have really good videos. Take a look at how you can create versions of these Dainty Wire Bracelets….
