Now this may have came out like 2 days ago, but I still find it interesting. Firstly, let’s look at the picture…

Kate Upto was given approval by Vogue after the editor saying ‘When I decided to shoot Kate for our first cover of 2013, it was to kick off the year with a young women who is not a stereotypical fashion model – although, lets face it, she’s hardly a heffalump!’ Now, I know that is quite nice, saying she isn’t ugly, or anything, but it’s kinda harsh to all the not such beautiful people, who can’t get on the cover of one of THE biggest magazine’s in the world. It’s like calling all the general public heffalumps. Yes, she isn’t perfectly slim, like they said, but she is amazingly stunning, and she does have great curves, but does that mean they have to call ‘us’ heffalumps? If you’re getting what I mean, then great, otherwise, you are beautiful, and you have probably already been on the cover of a magazine. Oh, and BTW, nobody’s a heffalump. Everybody is beautiful 😉

Unfortunately, this post really, only relates to those in France, or any other country in which this product is sold, so UK residence, you may find it hard to try out! Anway, on with the show…

Garnier Ultra Doux Coconut Butter & Oil Spray – Around €3 – 4.00
Me and my mum were trying to find a cheaper hair oil for my knotty hair, we had been using Orofluido, but because we have moved, we can’t get it without paying of €40 or paying the UK price and postage, so we then found this. As I said, you cannot buy this in the UK, but you probably can get it delivered using the FR site of Garnier. So, what it is, is a Coconut Butter & Oil but in a spray, so it is much finer, and you generally don’t get big oily patches. Also, you don’t have to rinse it out, and it has an amazing scent. I usually use it by spraying it in when my hair is still wet, or using it when my dry hair is a bit knotty. I make sure I comb it through otherwise it will make my hair greasy all over! I have found that it’s formula means it will work for over 2/3 days, because I have found my hair easier to brush through since I have used it. The unfortunate thing is, that it can leave oily patches, especially on the crown of your head (i.e the place in which at the top of your head before your skull drops down and around?!), which is really annoying, so I am definitely not going to put too much on again, I will now use around 3-5 spray/use. Compare to Orofluido, it works quicker, and works for longer. So for the price it is so much better. But you must be careful about applying too much, even if you think 1 spray is nothing! This stuff is powerful!
EASE OF USE: 8/10 – The spray makes it very thin and it goes along way in 1 spray!
OILY: 7/10 – Again, 1 spray does a lot so it can make your hair oily!
LENGTH OF TIME per USE: 8/10 – It seems to be still working, it has been working for 2 days now!
OVERALL: 8/10 – It works well, it is thin, it does everything right, and it last long! Well Done Garnier!
Sorry for the UK Folk you can’t get it, but I could always set up a store… haha! No joke… if you do want it, just ask! 😉
I was just checking things on Facebook when I saw that one of my favourite blogs has got a new S/S 13 Lookbook, so I thought, well why not check it out, and the pictures were amazing. Mr Kate – the blog – had got Milan, a model, to do their photos, and I have never seen such cool model pictures! So I searched around, and I found Milan’s Portfolio, and I am going to show you a few pictures! OMG, I love them! (Pictures from PhotoGenics)…

Picture above (3rd), is from the Mr Kate Look Book

I have been on ASOS recently and found there all new Personal Stylist ‘Beta’ Live Chat. It’s basically someone who finds what you want for you, so if you’re at work, you can be working away, but have someone look for what you want to wear on that Christmas Office Party 😉 So here’s my review… (Now this is a Beta – trial – for ASOS, so it’s just what I think of it, and if they should keep it! And for privacy reasons, as the stylists are real people, I have hidden their identities!)
I faked I was looking for a dress, as 1, I didn’t need one and 2, it was all a test!
So they asked a few questions, including my size (fake), what I wanted and the style. Remember – I ASKED FOR A PEPLUM / DIP HEM.
So she found me this, and as I said it was the wrong shape! I know, I am a fussy customer!
Oh oh! She forgot the shape…. Oh dear… I think they should maybe write down the needs of the customer!
Then they found me this = PEPLUM = CHECK!
Then I asked whether there were any ear cuffs that were quite cheap, and there was, so I was a happy girl!
Helpfulness: 8/10 – They were friendly, relatively fast and they found some nice things.
Speed: 7/10 – Quite fast, but they could have put more than one link at a time!
Overall: 7/10 – I think could work, but I prefer looking myself!
