So, this is a new kind of post, which I have never done before! It’s for 2013 Spring, and it’s my personal essentials…. and a few which I generally just love!

1 – MUA Artiste Palette, 2 – MUA Mascara, MUA Royal Blue Eyeliner, Bourjois Liner Pen & The Body Shop Kohl Liner, 3 – Collection 2000 Glam Crystals, 17 Ultimate Volume Lip Gloss & 2true Cover and Conceal Stick, 4 – Beauty UK Eye Shadow Collection, Miss Sporty Eyeshadow, 5 – M&S Autograph Mascara, 6 – Monthly Edition of Company Magazine.
For S/S 13 Bright eyes are the best! That’s why I have 2 of my favourite palettes, MUA Artiste Collection & Beauty UK. They are both very cheap, but do the job just fine. Also, natural beauty is hot to, so that’s why I chose these 2 mascaras. The MUA one is perfect because it doesn’t clump, and it creates a really nice natural look. The M&S one creates amazing long, curly lashes which also look really natural. My favourite concealer is this 2true Stick. It blends really well, and looks very natural, plus, there are other colours too!
So, I know most of you probably watched the first episode of the new series of ‘Mr Selfridge’ and as you know, red leather gloves played a part in it. So, I’m doing my part, and finding the top 3 red leather gloves in High Street, Mid-Range & Designer brands…
Gloves Zip by Soaked In Luxury €22.48 (We Like Fashion), Red Leather Gathered Cuff Gloves £12.50 (Debenhams) & Dents Leather Gloves £27.00 (ASOS).
All these gloves are really well priced, especially the Debenham ones. I think if you want a modern pair then definitely go for the Soaked in Luxury ones, otherwise for the classic look go for the Dents ones from ASOS.
Tommy Hilfiger Gloves £65.00 (Zalando), Dents Silk Lined Leather Gloves £65.00 (Harvey Nichols) & Leather Button Glove £29.00 (Ted Baker).
If I could, right now, I would definitely get the Ted Baker pair. The price is amazing! The reason I put them in Mid-Range is because they used to £59.00 and also they are pretty much designer, so I thought they deserved there rightful place!
Ladies Classic Mid Length Leather Gloves in Red £11.00 (Aspinal of London), Moschino Cheap & Chic Red Leather Gloves £156.20 (Forzieri), Castiglione Long Calf Hair and Leather Gloves £255.00 (Browns).
I really love the Moschino ones (in the center)! They are so nice! They have little peace sign and heart on them, and they are so amazing! Well, if you have £255.00….
I was reading an article recently on a journalist’ daughter who received a Vogue Magazine Subscription for Christmas. It was really interesting because it went over how it could cause the young reader to believe they need to grow up and look like the super thin, amazing faced models on the front page. Being an avid fashion magazine reader, I understand all of that, but I’m not sure whether there should be a worry? (Images from Vogue)

Many children now are quite mature with things like this, and I don’t want to sound vain or big headed, but I do understand quite a lot about things like this more than most. I have read Teen Vogue Handbook & In Fashion which both cover things like air brushing, modelling, magazine editing etc and I have learnt quite a lot, so to be honest, I understand that I don’t have to look like the person on the front cover. But, some girls will, and it’s not just girls. Many boys will look at GQ magazine which has been left around from when their dad was reading it, and think, ‘I need to have guns like that!’ (Um, yeah, sorry about the cheesy-ness) But, it’s true! If you have been reading my blog some time now, you may have read my post on Airbrushing in Teen Vogue. I also found that interesting because, why should teens need airbrushing!? It’s a teen magazine! Okay, if they’re well known celebrities then fine, but teenage life is one of the most important times, you don’t want to have to have the pressure of looking like something.
As, I love fashion, I would die to have a subscription of my favourite magazine (preferably Elle or Company Magazine), and I totally agree with it. But, for 9 years of age, and having it in your hands every month, for a year, and perhaps even more, could influence things. Even if they stopped reading it after the first year, it could have some impact. When I, hopefully, have children, I don’t want them to avidly read magazines with stunning models on (unless, it’s an article on me… then, I may change my mind, but that’s thinking a bit too far ahead…), because, how many imperfections they think they may have, they should believe they’re beautiful, they should have confidence & courage in what they look like. Now, I’m not saying you shouldn’t let young children and teens read magazines, but at least make something out of it. Discuss things, make collages, don’t just have them stare at an air-brushed ‘angel’ of beauty.

I was meant to post this ages ago, but I deleted it completely for some reason, so I am doing it again! This was from like October, but I think you can still buy the products. If you’re in England, I think you can only get Sephora products online, but in America and the rest of Europe, I believe you can. Anyway… on with the show!
Aren’t they just so cute! I got these because I wanted a nice shower cream, as I don’t really use them, but I decided to try one out. This is the ‘Chocolat Creme de Douche’ or ‘Chocolate Creamy Body Wash’. It smells, absolutely amazing. It smells so chocolately, and leaves your body feeling even better. I was going to try out the Strawberry one, but I decided not to because I thought I would probably prefer Chocolate at a cold time in the year. I also got these little Bath Pebbles, which were really cheap, and super cute! I think you’re meant to just let them melt in the bath, but I wasn’t quite sure, so I just kind of destroyed it haha. I think now I have only the stars left. They are really cute though, and I think for a birthday, a nice bunch and perhaps 2 shower creams would do nicely!
SCENT: 9/10: Amazing. It smells so strong of chocolate.
AFTERWARDS: 7/10: My skin felt really nice, and smelt a little bit like chocolate!
OVERALL: 8/10: Really nice, and perfectly worth the price! Amazing!
Recently, I was chatting with a twitter tweep, and we got to the discussion of confidence in what you wear. They said that they had died their hair bright blue, and then changed it back to brown again, because they stuck out like a sore thumb. I could understand where they were coming from, with the whole ‘Look at me, I’m different’ thing. I sometimes think to myself, ‘but, people are going to look at me’. When I visit the local supermarket, I am certain I get strange looks. I think it’s probably because I always wear my hat inside, well, it is cold! It does give me that feeling of insecurity, but then my dad does the cheesy thing of saying ‘They do it because you’re pretty’, well, okay, thanks dad, but I don’t want to sound vain here. Anyway, this post is all about building confidence. I feel since starting my blog, I have definitely felt more confident in what I wear, as it’s out in the open. So, I have created a guide, to building your confidence and your building up your courage, in whichever way possible…
Starting a blog can be quite hard, because if you get good amounts of views, you may have to start doing it every day. BUT! I have a solution! If you start a online diary (a public diary), it can be about anything, so you start to express your opinions which can help you. A blog is different because you’re doing it to a specific subject, and you kind of have to commit to it. With this, because it’s about anything and everything, there’s not much commitment at all! Because, people aren’t relying on you. Here are some examples…
I really like this one. It has things that are really quite unusual, like a day out of a bus window etc, so if you want inspiration, there’s a gooden!
This is what I mean by anything and everything. It literally is. Random pictures, random everything! It is very basic, and I guess anyone could do this!
I’ve never personally been to a Meet & Greet but I know that many YouTubers hold them. Now, you may be thinking why would that help me, but it would for these reasons… 1. You will meet lots of different people, and personalities, which will show you that you can be whoever you like. 2. You may get some inspiration from it, and you might end up being even better than the YouTuber you met! 3. You will learn a lot because you’ll begin to talk to people, and you might meet people who wear things totally random, and you might catch on, and that could boost you!
Even if you don’t get into Fashion Week, just get to the place around it! Have a nice day out, and take some pictures of people. It can tell you that if you have a love for fashion, then you should be able to wear what ever you want to wear! I’ve been to Clothes Show Live, and even there loads of people wore mad things, I hadn’t started blogging yet, but it gave me some inspiration.
GO OUT! Wear what you feel like you should be wearing! Go to big cities like London, Paris, Birmingham, New York, you’re sure to get spotted, for the right reasons! I remember when I first went out wearing these sunglasses that I thought were OTT and ridiculous, I came back and I people had said that they liked them! Woop!
Now, I know this wasn’t all fashion related, but sometimes we just need that inspiration don’t we? Just sometimes? Oh! And before you finish reading!! The Give-Away starts tomorrow! Woop! It’s to say thank you for the recent amazing views, and Twitter boom. Thank you so much! Here’s what you could win…

A sweet little swallow bracelet by Delilah Dust 🙂 So cute!
For Christmas I got given the new Artiste Collection by MUA, which was actually free, but I was still very grateful 😉 Haha. So, here’s my review! (Sorry about the pictures, my arm looks really creepy…)
(See what I mean about my arm?)
I am really sorry I didn’t take a picture of the Pink Sparkle, Primrose etc, as they are blushers and bronzers so I just left them out. Sorry! Haha. Anyway, the first thing I love about this set, is that it has a highlighter!! I have been wanting and wanting one, and now I do! It is such a pretty coulour! It is Shimmer Kiss the first colour on the last picture. It is so nice, and is very natural. The second thing I love is the iridescence of all the colours. The marble effect is so beautiful, but, unfortunately after using a couple of time, it kind of mixes together. I think my favourite eyeshadow colour is Pistachio, because it is really bright, but very soft at the same time. My favourite blush of the two, is probably Primrose. The blushes are very similar, but this one just has a slightly more natural undertone to it. I feel all the products go on like, creamy? They look very sharp, not all powdery, and for free, come on that’s pretty good?! The bad things are… the two brown shadows. I feel that these let the palette down, as they are very metallicy and if you’re trying to create a soft look, they can be quite harsh.
COLOURS: 8/10: Nice colours, but some are a bit too harsh.
FEEL & LOOK: 8/10: They look great, and feel very nice, not powdery at all.
OVERALL RATING: 8.5/10: For the price it is good. It includes a highlighter, and all the essentials.
I was browsing around after my amazing Twitter Boom 🙂 (Thank You guys), and found Miranda Kerr wearing such a lovely outfit, I knew I had to do something with it. This look was worn by Miranda when she went out food shopping recently, so when you do pop into your local store, make sure you wearing this, and send me a message 😉 Would be great!
Jacket £29.99 (H&M), Dragonfly Viscose T-Shirt £35.00 (Oasis), Gold Jazz Tube Skirt £8.00 SALE (A Wear), SEATTLE Pointed Heels £25.00 (ASOS) & Bow Smart Bag £32.00 (ASOS).
This outfit is perfect for any Spring occasion. It is very feminine, but smart enough that you could perhaps wear it to the office with a bit of tweaking. The bag adds a more formal look to it, and is the perfect size to keep all your shopping essential inside. The shoes may not be exact, but they can be worn with many different outfits, and as they aren’t as pointed, most people can work them. If you’re afraid of going out with bare legs, wear a pair of skin colour tights to keep you from the chill! Or, just be brave 😉 (Hint, on a blog post coming soon…) The skirt is on sale at A Wear, so grab it whilst you can.
OMG. I saw this on Twitter, and I am loving it. Please, can someone just send it to me in the post? Late Christmas Present…?! Yeah?! Oh, sorry, didn’t realise you didn’t give £130 dresses to strangers… 🙁

House of Holland Pom Spot Print Tee Dress £130.00
PRITCH London is a new brand which mixes ‘rock harmony and classic chic’. I was told to go and check PRITCH out, and I actually quite like it! They are just coming along, so they need to get out there! You can see on their site that there are a few quick snippets of their collections, and also some nice pictures as well 🙂 They haven’t yet released their stockists, so you better be ready, because I think they’re gonna be big!

I think these pictures are really strong, and capture the brand perfectly. Plus, I just really like cool photography like this! 🙂
