The other day I did a post saying that Yves Saint Laurent was changing to ‘Saint Laurent Paris’, and I thought it was quite annoying because it meant Yves Saint Laurent was losing it’s value. Well, if you didn’t it, here’s your chance > YSL Branding Change.
If you have read the post, then you will know what I’m talking about. By bad reviews, I mean comments from Facebook. People on the social media site, have been posting comments on the YSL page, saying things like, ‘It’s doesn’t have anything unique to it’ or ‘The new logo doesn’t represent the brand’. I quite agree. If you have been running a brand for that long, quite a dramatic change like that can be quite damaging, especially for your buyers – in my opinion.
Others may think differently, and that is the whole point in this post. I would like to here your views, and it would be great if you left a tweet (@TollyDollyPosh) or a comment, or even message me via my Contact page!

I absolutely agree. The YSL label is so iconic. I’d loved to know the research behind their thinking. Great post by the way. Luc the blog.
