My Style: Floral, Dots & A Give-Away*

By February 13, 2014 Competitions, My Style

Oh my. Oh my. Oh my. Okay, I need to stop with the ‘Oh my’ thing, but… I am SO excited for this post for 3 reasons. 1 – My chicken pox are gone off ma’ face, 2 – I have my NEW lens and 3 – it includes a give-away! WOW WOW WOW *insert mind blown GIF* But seriously… eee! I’m very very happy! 😀 Anyway, I should stop my really over excited introduction, and get on with this post! Oh wait, one more thing… I have made the images bigger because I think it will make them look even more awesome and snazzy, so yah.

my style ss14 trends peacocks asos ootd teen fashion shuttersong app give-awayWhat I Wore: Polka Dot Dungarees £8.00 (ASOS), Winter Floral Sweater £10.00 (Peacocks)*, Silver & White Chunky Heels (ASOS) & Black Leather Watch (Shuttersong)*

I’m sorry, but please admire that bokeh and those whisps of hair that actually look alright in front of my face. It’s amazing what a different piece of glass can do… Honestly though I feel like I could become a LookBook.nu professional… jokes jokes. The clothes Tolly, talk about the clothes… well… I LOVE this outfit, honestly it’s super comfortable and is perfect for this time of the year. I picked up this amazing dungarees in the ASOS sale and it’s super slouchy and adjustable which means I can wear it like jumbo, or nice and snug. I also adore this sweater I got sent from Peacocks. I think it looks gorgeous with the polka dots, and it’s  the perfect piece you could take through from summer to winter. It’s not a piece I would usually think of as from Peacocks, but as I have said before, they’re really stepping up their game!

Papa Posh thought it would be hilarious for me to include that picture above… I guess it does show how slouchy the dungarees are though… hmm 😉 Ooh and look who made an appearance again! My super awesome silver heels that I won. They’re the perfect accessory for an outfit like this because they just add that little bit of ‘formal’ to it. I’m also really liking having my hair up half down. When I was younger at school I used to always do it but I then had it cut shorter and it didn’t look as good, but now it’s grown back and I think it looks just right! You’ll be shocked in the next pictures… I have no nail polish on. A blogger with no nice manicure?! My word! (Jokes… but seriously, I can never be bothered) Oh and you know I mentioned a give-away? Well, I’m re-opening my Shuttersong watch give-away. Unfortunately their weren’t many entries on Facebook, so I thought I’d give you lovely blog readers a chance to win! Scroll down to find out more…

A/W Look Book with Peacocks*

By November 12, 2013 My Style

WOW, long time no… read? Ha. I’m sorry I’ve been away for a few more days than usual, but firstly, my brain decided to empty itself (not literally) and I simply couldn’t think of any blog posts, and then yesterday, it decided to explode into the worst headache 🙁 So today, I went out in the cold (my toes were numb) to shoot my Look Book! I’m sorry it’s not tip top’, but I’ve never done one before and it’s harder than you think! Okay, this very long intro should probably stop, so um… enjoy!

peacocks girls clothing teen fashion a/w look book What I Wore: Multicolour Chunky Knit Beanie (Primark), Love Me Batwing T-Shirt £7.00 (Peacocks)*, Petticoat Tutu £20.00 (M&S) & Chelsea Boots (Jumble Sale)

My favourite outfit at the moment! I splurged on this petticoat tutu skirt in England, and when this cute slogan top arrived, I knew I had to pair the two together. The top is slightly bat winged, but is really really comfortable. In my opinion pastels in the winter are just perfect, especially when it’s tulle – you know my love for tulle! I also adore this beanie which was a right bargain!

peacocks girls clothing teen fashion a/w look book What I Wore: Fluffy Jumper £10.00 (Primark), Blue & Black Long Sleeve Maxi Dress £10.00 (Peacocks)*, Floral Headband £10.00 (ASOS) & Dr Martens €30.00 (Jumble Sale)

Again, this look is one of my favourites for A/W. It’s a little bit grunge-y, but a little bit cute, and definitely warm. I’m really happy with the maxi dress because it has long sleeves, and it’s just the right length! Not many teen collections cater for maxi dresses! The fluffy jumper adds a little sumin’ sumin’ with the texture.

peacocks girls clothing teen fashion a/w look book What I Wore: White Blouse (Next), Tartan Check Scarf 0.65c (2nd Hand Shop), Red and Monochrome Tartan Check Skater Skirt £7.00 (Peacocks)& Chelsea Boots (Jumble Sale)

I think this outfit is really cute and British, and nice for those days where it isn’t too cold, but not too warm. I think you could dress it up with a leather jacket and chunky boots. This skirt is perfect for all seasons too! Who said you can’t wear tartan in summer?! Plus, how amazing is my 65 cent scarf? Bargain!

peacocks girls clothing teen fashion a/w look book What I Wore: White Shirt (M&S), Sparkly Blue Bow £8.00 (Prairie Charms)*, Fluffy Jumper £10.00 (Primark), Black & Grey Leopard Print Skater Skirt £7.00 (Peacocks)*, Dr Martens €30.00 (Jumble Sale)

Come on, look at that bow?! Cuteeee! ^.^ Haha! I added the sparkly bow just to jazz it up a bit more – top tip: use hair bows as faux bow ties! – but yeah it’s just a really simple, comfy outfit. I actually really like the skirt. It’s simple, but because the print is in a plain colour combination, it can be worn in different ways. Gahh, the fluffy jumper is so snug!

I hope you enjoyed my first ever Look Book! I hope I did it okay?… I also have 3 other pieces from the Teen Collection at Peacocks which I hope to shoot (again – the pictures weren’t the best!) soon. Shout out to Peacocks though! I am so grateful for all of the support they have given to my blog! I never knew I would be collaborating with a high street brand which is in most UK towns! 😀 Please leave me a comment if you wish!

My Style: Oriental Jungle In The City*

By September 6, 2013 DIY & Lifestyle, Fashion, My Style

Excuse the really odd title of this My Style post. I thought it was quite fitting, though…?! I also excuse the fact that my editing is changing. I’m trying to find the perfect way that suits the feel of my outfits I wear, I know it can be annoying, but I just can’t find the right type of colours etc

peacocks my style peacocks my style peacocks my style What I Wore: Floral Crown (DIY), Oriental Silk Kimono Top €1.00 (Jumble Sale), Sleeveless Parrot Blouse £8.00* (Peacocks), Petite Lasercut Hi Low Skirt £13.00 (ASOS), Jelly Shoes (Supermarket).

I LOVE THIS OUTFIT. When this gorgeous blouse slipped through my letter box, I was like.. ‘Hmm, what should I wear it with’, so I went on the hunt for something to wear with it. BINGO. A 1 EURO Silk Kimono Top in the perfect turquoise blue. The colour picks out the parrots in my blouse, and ooooh they look so nice together. Add my flowy lasercut skirt from ASOS (Still available here, grab it whilst you can!), and it’s just perfect. Although this blouse is Peacocks, I really do like it. It’s great quality for the price. The one thing that is a shame, is the fact that there are only a few gems in the range for girls, which are in the midst of 1D T-Shirts, so come on Peacocks, give us some more! I definitely think I would wear this to LFW though, for one of the more informal shows… *sob sob* Ahhh, one can dream!

As I always do, here is the lifestyle part of my OOTDs… last week we went on a day trip, involving an hour and a half car journey. We went to a pretty village which was basically on the edge of a hill (One of the building was IN the hill). We had a walk round, a drink and a kebab – the yummy ones, pita bread, chips, BBQ sauce, onion… you know the drill. We then went back home stopping off to of course take my OOTD pictures 😉 #bloggerproblems. It was a really lovely day, but also absolutely boiling! I am going to miss the summer, but oh boy, I can’t wait for cosy nights in the winter!
