I know, I know… it’s March and I’m only just putting up my CWTS #2 (meant for February)… I just blame February being shorter, I mean who knew 2 or 3 days less than usual could make such a big difference? I really do apologise though, I doubt any of you are really keeping track of the schedule, but oh well. It’s here now! Want to know how to dress for winter? Step right this way…

It’s definitely getting warmer, which I am SO excited about. I tweeted the other day saying that I literally love summer and spring so much. It’s just that feeling of stepping out the door and not having a freezing cold nose and not having to cover up your meticulously planned outfit with a coat. We’re nearly getting there and that means… COLOUR. I think this skirt (that you guys so amazingly voted for me to style) is a nice inbetween colour, because it matches the purple, but then it also sorta’ blends in those black tights that I’m still clinging on to.

I made this outfit a little bit more snazzy with texture too. I’ve been dying to try out the whole ‘scuba’ trend and I’m loving it. The structure to it makes everything look a bit more sleek and perhaps even a bit more expensive. I’ve had an odd relationship with Glamorous, but the more I wear their pieces, the more I fall in love. The other bit of texture is my faux fur gilet. It has been rather sad as you guys didn’t vote for it… but it made a cheeky appearance anyway!

I love my faux fur gilet, especially now as it matches my super adorable floral headband from Johnny Loves Rosie… but then again that’s rather sad too as it, keeps. on. braking! The stems of flowers just decide to pop off, so I perhaps wouldn’t suggest buying it, unless you just really like the look of it. Speaking of things we really like the look of… LOOK. AT. MY SHOES.

You have no idea how long I have wanted a proper (like proper, proper) pair of holographic shoes, and I finally have some. I do admit that they are slightly noisy (the buckles tend to squeak and rattle) and the zips are a little too stiff, but I can live with that… they’re amazing. I thank Boohoo for bringing them into my life… I will just point out here and now, that this year I’ll be working with Boohoo on a snazzy lil’ prom outfit… who’s excited for that?!

After a few recent purchases, I have realised that I have a thing for fast food fashion… whether it’s socks, necklaces, badges, the whole lot, it is definitely a trend I’m loving. I decided to put together a little blog post so you can see what is currently ‘on the menu’. I even purchased some props to make this post even more snazzy! I really hope you enjoy 🙂

MAIN COURSE – BURGER SOCKS £1.00 (KYLIE – M&CO.)* – FAST FOOD SOCKS £3.00 (ASOS)

The first plate is of course, some burgers… in the form of two pairs of socks, at super cheap prices… cheap as chips (ha.. ha..)! The first pair are from M&Co, and look super juicy and kitsch. I think they would look awesome with nautical stripes and some cute flats. For those of you who want a more subtle fast food option, these socks from the ASOS Menswear range might be for you! A more robust pair of socks with a retro style cartoon print… I’ve styled this with denim dungarees and they look awesome. I love the yellow and red… *sassy click of fingers* primary perfection. 

ON THE SIDE – CHIP SOCKS £1.00 (KYLIE – M&CO.)* – CHIP NECKLACE £12.00 (CHELSEA DOLL)*

You can’t have a burger without a classic side of fries/chips and a good dose of ketchup, so these two pieces are perfect. I think if you were to wear one of the chip socks with one of the burger socks, you would look awesome. This necklace is definitely a favourite of mine as it’s really bold and bright, yet simple all in one. Ahh yes, a use for my Jean Paul Gaultier Coca-Cola can! Obviously a meal wouldn’t be complete without drinks, and for me it’s always got to be a good ol’ Coca-Cola… like I mentioned in my interview for the Mooi En Lief lifestyle magazine *wink wink* This necklace is crazy though, it has burgers, cereal boxes, toothpaste tubes, you name it, it’s on it! DESSERT – CANDY GLITTER DREAMS NECKLACE £15.00 (I LOVE CRAFTY)

There’s always room for dessert, isn’t there? Well, today I have a beauty… a glittery donut shaped beauty! I decided to treat myself to a piece from the new I Love Crafty Donut Shop collection, and I’m so glad I did! It’s stunning. From the gorgeous sparkles, to the gold little gem, every detail makes it special. Laura sprinkles them with goodness and love, as it arrived in a gorgeous packaging which I shall keep it nice and new in. I honestly cannot wait to style this! Yum!

Hello everyone! Just a little fact before you starting reading this blog post… that title is actually from the Snowy Adventure episode of Tots TV… oh yes, how cool? Hahaha! Ah… the things my family think of when we go on a nice woodland walk… also, look at my bland straight hair for a good while longer… this maybe the last ever OOTD where it is pretty boring! Woahhh! Way too over exposed face… do excuse! There is this really lovely path near us which takes you through the woods and into this great big valley, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to show off ma’ new red girls wellies! I think it makes a nice change to the usual outfit, because you can see what I really wear. I’m not saying what I wear isn’t what I wear (aha), I just mean that this is more casual and relaxed and perhaps a more day to day outfit! These wellies though *perfection hand sign* are so comfortable! I’ve worn them out and about and they are just so warm and snug! Paired with the Joules welly socks, they are the ultimate pair, and in my opinion, a bargain! They are in the kids section, but they go up to an adult size 7! And of course you cannot forget my blouse and faux leather jacket combo once again (see previous outfit here), my brother says it’s a James May shirt (-____-) but I say it is utterly gorgeous… and it is, for sure!

Ahah! My face is so funny in that top picture… the path is very downhill so the walk back up made me all red faced! You can see my wellies in some underwater action too! No leakages so far, and it meant I could splash around and show off to my family who were all in normal shoes 😉 #WellyAdvantages 😉 Ooh ooh and you can see more of my AWESOME scissor necklace from Chelsea Doll! I love how it just peeps under the collar of my blouse and looks like it is almost embellished onto it! You can see a clearer picture below, FYI! I do have to say though, country walks are so nice, especially when you have a can of coke at the end 😉

Getting all jazzy with my editing again 😉 There’s not point wasting a good picture is there? May as well stick it as a border! I feel sad that I have walked in my wellies as much as I have… they’ve lost the shine they had *sob*… ah well, I guess I have my scissor necklace to make feel better! Honestly Chelsea Doll, you have some dayum good statement necklaces! 😀 I have a wishlist coming up soon which will feature 2 pieces which I would love to add to my collection! …for now though, I shall leave you with this funny GIF… I failed at doing the whole ‘whimsical blowing leaf GIF’… damn you wind for not helping it look even more awesome! 😉

Ermagherd. I love this outfit SO SO SO much! It’s such a random outfit, but somehow I just love it! I don’t care about the stares I get from annoying french people (seriously though, who teaches them that staring is not rude?!), I love this outfit and that is all that matters. I mean… a New York slogan top = Carrie Diaries, a troll necklace = retro and my new nickname, uhum, Trolly Dolly Posh, puffy skirt = pastel perfectness AND floral Dr Marten’s (which can I just say, are so comfortable) = what more could you want?! I am actually obsessed. I just want to wear it everyday! Come on sun, just be that tad warmer so I don’t have to wear annoying skin coloured tights…

The day before I took these outfit pictures, we popped along to this fete/circus fair/celebration(of goodness knows what) thingy-ma-bobby, and there were so many rides and games to play on! It was crazy! There was this one ride which had little ponies for children to ride on 🙁 I don’t understand the french, they just don’t have the same thoughts about animals as us English folk! On a positive note… look how cool my little ‘troll family’ look against the bright lights… awesome! I wore the same outfit but as it was too dark, I couldn’t do the snazzy pictures with bright bokeh in the background, urgh. Not cool… 😉

I will be doing a full review on these beauties, but I couldn’t resist wearing them in this outfit! Before I do that post though… these honestly are SO FREAKING COOL! As you will know, I adore Dr Martens. They are not only fabulous practicality wise, they also look beautiful, and these are the cherry on the top! I feel a bit proud of myself really, because when I got my first pair from a jumble sale last year, I never imagined that the next year I would be getting a pair as a gift for my blog!?! Eeee, just looking at them makes me feel giddy! You could win yourself some if you head over to Bundle too! Hurry up summer time so I can wear cool vintage shorts and a floppy hat and nice bikini and be all like ‘Look at me like I’m from Tumblr, wearing boots and shorts…’ 😉 😉 Wearing my puffy tutu again has made me realise why I bought it in the first place. Definitely going to put it out so I remember to wear it more! It’s gorgeous!

I thought I would leave you with this ‘alright’ picture and this really weird and funny looking picture of me! I do pull some funny faces… if you were to zoom in on that picture on the right, you’d see that my chin is actually really weird, and that it can bend inwards and go into the pointiest shape ever. Oh well that is life… nobody is perfect and all that jazz! Well… outfits can be perfect, and this is one of them! …in my opinion! Actually who cares?! This outfit IS perfect, no matter what you say. Yeah. Hmmmm. Yes, I did just get sassy with you. Ooh yeah. YEAH. Okay, now I’m just talking to myself because hopefully you are in the comments section… or now you are… hmm… you better be. *sighs at self and decides to look up people who are not weird and mimic them… then realises that that is impossible if you are already weird* THE END.
