My Style: A Little Transitional Outfit for Autumn*

By October 9, 2014 My Style

Well hello there my friend! I’m back with another outfit! Excuse the different editing of these images (if you can tell…) but I’m deciding on what works best for me so you might see different styles in the next few My Style posts. Speaking of different styles… this outfit is quite a different style for me! It’s quite a transitional one… not much colour, but I like it nonetheless and I hope you do too! 🙂

autumn 1

What I Wore: Fluffy Faux Feather Jacket (Matalan), Lace Hem Breton Top (Johnnie B – Sold Out)*, Mom Jeans (Jumble Sale), Cat Ear Bowler Hat (Claire’s)* & Blue Folk Print Hi-Tops £15.99 (New Look)*

I told you it was a slightly different outfit than usual! Where the heck has the colour gone?! I think sometimes it is refreshing to change it up though, especially since I basically wear colour 9 til’ 5. Claire’s sent me this adorable cat ear bowler hat (which I believe is from the new Katy Perry collection), and I new straight away I had to whack out my old Matalan jacket… which wasn’t quite as ‘cropped’ when I first got it… if you know what I mean 😉 It was also another reason to brave wearing black/grey with navy… it worked out alright in the end!

How cute is the hat though?! My brother doesn’t like it, and to be honest I never knew it would suit me, but it’s definitely won me over. The ears add that cuteness, and the grey/black shade adds that touch of sophistication. I wear it on the back of my head and swoop my hair back into miniature curtains and I love it! The colour also compliments not only my skin tone, but also my hair colour… what do you think of it? Ooh, and let’s not forget the cute little Breton top that I chose from Johnnie B. You can never have too many striped tops! It’s a slightly wider fit than I would usually go for, but it looks really casual of jeans or a flowy skirt. The lace adds a really nice touch too, especially layered over tulle.

Let’s talk shoes! I’ve had these for a while now from New Look, and they are super duper comfy! I always tend to wear these with jeans because they look awesome with them. The paisley print is such a nice touch too.

Ahh Autumn, I’m glad you are back! Although it means it’s time for thick tights and cold noses (and toes!), it also means it’s nearly Christmas… and then nearly 2015! I think this outfit has made me realise that I need to take this season to rediscover some gems in my wardrobe and perhaps replace them with a few new items. Are you feeling the same? Tell me!

Before you go though, I have some news! I can finally say that Tolly Dolly Posh Fashion is getting a re-design! Eeee! 😀 I’m going to be launching it on the 25th October 2014. That means my site will probably be down for maintenance on the 24th, but do not fear, it’s for the good! I am SO excited now… it’s all coming together so so well! It’s going to be a big change but I hope you like it! The countdown begins…

My Style: Tennis Court & Dr Martens*

By September 24, 2014 My Style

Eeeee! I am so excited to share these pictures with you! Yesterday we found an old abandoned tennis court (it was at the top of a weird path at the top of a hill), and my outfit seemed to fit the setting really well and it came out with a really cool urban/grunge vibe. I’m really inspired by fashion editorials and the way they are done at the moment so sorry for the photo spam! I really hope you like these as much as I do! 😀 If you want to see where everything is from etc, scroll through the pictures to the end…

What I Wore: Cool Kids Club Sweatshirt (ASOS), White Star Print Blouse (Jumble Sale), Pleated Skirt (H&M Girls), Socks (FOX) & Dr Marten Pascal Mirror Shift Suede Boots (Mastershoe-MyShu)*

Dah-dah! I’m just SO pleased with how the photos came out! I don’t care if that sounds vain, but it’s just exciting when something comes together, especially when it’s spontaneous! I also absolutely love this outfit too, it’s quite autumnal I suppose, but it feels right now that the leaves are changing. You might recognise this jumper from my LFW outfit ideas… I finally caved in and purchased it after I found a 20% off code, hooray! I adore it.

I also adore my new Dr Martens… they’re SHINY! They’re beautiful. They’re the kind of iridescent metallic that looks different at every angle, I’m actually obsessed and can’t stop looking at them all the time. I highly recommend visiting the Mastershoe-MyShu website also, because they have a fabulous range of shoes, and loads of brands… plus they are super lovely, supportive people too. May I add that the socks I am wearing are the best kind of socks for Dr Martens, ever. They’re not too thick or too thin, just perfect!

What do you think of this outfit and this kind of post? Did you like the pictures? Let me know in a comment below, I love to know your thoughts! 🙂

My Style & Inspiration with Phiney Pet*

By September 6, 2014 My Style

Helloooo! Long time no blog. Sorry for the slight delay in posting, I’ve actually been quite busy and some of the posts which I was meant to post just weren’t coming across 100% tip-top, but I have one finally! Another apology for the fact that my recent OOTD/My Style posts have been so close together… I won’t be posting one for a while due to LFW, so I thought I would give you twice as much in one go! Today though, I have an outfit post with a bit twist. I’m doing a little thing with Phiney Pet and I hope you enjoy… (Inspiration images via Tumblr)

Frida, Denim & Embroidery (Tolly) // Circles, Monochrome & Summer (Phiney Pet)

Just as an introduction for those of you who don’t know of Phiney, she is an upcoming designer who I found through Style Bubble (Susie Lau’s blog). Phiney mainly paints clothing which I think is really cool and unique. One of my favourite things she has done was her SS 14′ jacket. It was so intricate and detailed, I loved it! For the first stage of our little ‘collab’ we put together some ideas for the box clutch via some images from Tumblr. I’ve been loving denim recently and I think badges and embroidery all mix in really well, especially with a summery vibe. I’m all about bright colours also so it’s basically the perfect mix for me. Flowers are a huge inspiration for me too, so of course Frida Khalo had to be mixed in! Phiney said that she accidentally used images which all involved circles, and it came out quite well! I gave Phiney some other ideas like including fruit and palm trees and the result is pretty cute! ^.^

What I Wore: Denim Jacket (Jumble Sale), Spotty Dungarees (ASOS), Pom Pom Headband (ASOS), Black Shimmer Dr Martens (Jumble Sale), Badges £3.00 each (Phiney Pet)* & Custom Lunch Box Clutch (Phiney Pet)*

I admit it, this outfit is pretty simple, but sometimes comfort is key. Although it is simple, it’s perfect for this kind of year as it isn’t too warm and isn’t too cold. It’s great for the transition between summer and autumn. Due to spots and denim being involved in our inspiration images, I obviously had to wear my jacket and favourite dungarees. They’re too cute! Phiney (Josephine really) also gave me a keyring which I knew immediately would suit my pom pom headband, so the outfit came together quite quickly. I also had on this super cute little crochet crop top but I completely forgot to photograph it. Grrrr!

my style ootd fashion blog phiney pet my style ootd fashion blog phiney pet

To be quite honest the clutch wasn’t quite was I was expecting in terms of size and style, but I actually kind of like it’s quirky charm. Even if I don’t get to wear it out that often, it will always be a reminder of finding new upcoming designers like Phiney. I love the little pineapple and the spots and everything painted basically. It’s just so cute! I think on holiday it would look adorable with all your beach essentials inside… aww, now I really want to go to the beach and sun bathe… *sighs*

my style ootd fashion blog phiney pet my style ootd fashion blog phiney pet

Finally lets talk about the little details. Josephine also really kindly slipped in some of her super cute badges, they’re adorable and I especially love the pastel ones. They give an added girly-ness to my denim jacket, which I also love. It’s a little bit cropped (aka. too small) but I’ve got a lot of wear out of it which is always good. Speaking of wearing, I haven’t worn my Docs in ages, especially this pair. I definitely need to get some more boot socks for these bad boys. I will not have blisters for winter!

Thank you so much to Phiney Pet for joining me in this post, I hope that lots of you (my lovely readers) will have a nose on Phiney’s site… it’s super cute, so I totally recommend that you do. I cannot wait to see your SS 15′ collection PP! Did you like the clutch Phiney painted? Let me know in a comment! Speak soon 😀

My Style: Dressing Up, Growing Up*

By August 26, 2014 My Style

Hiya! I have a little OOTD/My Style post for you today as you can tell by the title! This weeks batch of photos has made me love my lens all over again. It’s very picky with lighting so when it goes smoothly, I’m a happy lady! I hope you like the pictures too!

What I Wore: Striped Top (Saint James), Mint and Pink Midi Skirt €1.50 (Jumble Sale), White Strappy Heels £10.00 (New Look)*, Vintage Cat Eye Sunglasses (Jumble Sale) & Eye Shaped Clutch £35.00 (Sunita Mukhi)*

To me this is a very grown up style of outfit. Although I love fun and bright clothes, I also love trying out more sophisticated styles, and one of my favourite ways of doing that is to wear a midi skirt and heels! Oh and of course my striped top… sorry about it being featured so much but I’d rather be truthful than wear something that I don’t like as much! The title of this post also says it, but I feel like I am definitely growing up a lot more recently and I would definitely say it is influencing my style. I still love fun pieces like I mentioned, but I’m going towards more versatile items and wanting to match them with more grown-up textures. Don’t panic though, I’m no way going to be toning down my outfits! I love how I dress, even if that does sound vain! It shouldn’t do though because if you feel confident in what you wear then that is a good thing, surely?

When I bought this skirt I did worry it was a little bit granny-ish, but now I look at it, I totally disagree. The print and colours put a modern twist on the style and feel of the skirt and make it a bit more me. I really do need to stop imaging skirts like this to be full and puffy though… I love them like that but I always imagine skirts in different styles when I purchase them. For one euro fifty though, you can’t really go wrong! The heels add a cute touch too… what d’ya think?

Accessories time! I was recently sent a piece from Sunita Mukhi to have a look at and I knew instantly it was going to be a photogenic piece! I have to honestly say that it isn’t really my style because it is just so bling bling, but I know that some people could totally rock it. The ‘Serena’ collection has recently launched and is being sold by Urban Outfitters, so if you are interested make sure to check out the rest of the range here! The team at SM are super supportive though, even if the bag isn’t right up my street 🙂 Something I am totally into though is cat-eye sunglasses, especially these bargain ones I picked up ages ago. I really like the sort of rose gold shade they are and the shape. I believe they suit me! Do you agree?!

Do let me know if you still enjoy OOTDs! Another will be posted quite soon but then none for a while again because of LFW! Yay! 🙂 Oh and I have a give-away up if you didn’t catch it!

My Life, My Style: French Exploration

By August 18, 2014 DIY & Lifestyle, My Style

Well hello’ there ladies and gents. I decided it was time I did a bit more than just an outfit post and took some lifestyle pictures too… so do excuse the rather cheesy use of a comma in this post title… it sounds like some sort of bad ITV2 reality show! Anyway, lets get on with this… oh and wish Papa Posh a belated Happy Birthday seeing as these pictures were taken on that day!

The first place we visited was a place called Auch. We’d been there before but only in the winter so it was so weird to see it with real, actual, living people wondering around. There’s a massive cathedral, and so many tiny little streets to wonder round. The thing about France is that you pass so many random, freaky things every time, it makes it a real adventure!

Coming out of Auch we stumbled across this huge Bric-o-Brac center… full. of. junk. It would be the sort of place to go to if you wanted a really bohemian, mix match house full of random bits and bobs. I got a bit excited when I saw the clothes though, unfortunately there were no awesome bargains (darn it!), but it was fun to look around. Mama Posh and I jokingly decided which of the old arm chairs we would pick if we had to… I decided that I would go for the mustard ones, and perhaps the paisley one too. I don’t know, there’s something kind of cool about them?!

We then found another weird place which was basically a ‘brocante’ fair (brocante basically means junk or odds and ends, just with a few more antique pieces thrown in), it had one bit which was a church full of really expensive pieces, really beautiful. I found this stunning mustard post box too… I must have a thing for mustard at the moment, it’s so pretty! To top it all off I had a Lipton Ice Tea after. It’s probably my favourite drink at the moment, it’s so refreshing! What’s yours?! Tell me in the comments… maybe I’ll discover something new to sip on!

What I Wore: Stripey Top (Saint James), Denim Camo Skirt (ASOS), Silver Belt (Unknown), Sunglasses (Topshop), Sunflower Floral Crown (DIY) & Leopard Converse Hi-Tops (Footlocker)

So let’s get down to business… the outfit kinda’ business! I know this outfit is kind of similar to my last outfit but who cares… we were travelling quite a bit and clothes are meant to be worn more than once, non? This outfit is pretty simple, a little french if you want to say that, with nautical stripes and a denim skirt! I haven’t worn this skirt in forever, and it’s about time I did seeing as it’s getting on the short side now. I’m not sure what else to say about this outfit… it’s kind of self explanatory in my opinion 🙂

my style asos footlocker converse diy floral crown

my style asos footlocker converse diy floral crown

But on second thoughts there is always time to explain the details! Let’s talk about my new floral crown for example! I picked up some more false flowers from a jumble sale for about three euros fifty after some haggling, but my brother says the white peonies look like onions and now I’m self conscious that they do. Do they?! If they do, let’s just comfort my little soul and say the sunflowers definitely look like sunflowers! It’s my first DIY elastic floral crown and after 2 burnt fingers I’d definitely say I’ll stick to alice band ones…! Another cheeky OOTD with my Converse. I do love them, very very much.

my style asos footlocker converse diy floral crown

Well that’s it folks. I’ll leave you with this picture where I look really disheveled from sitting in the car most of the day. I’m also half smiling due to the fact people were walking past and I was trying to take a nice picture without looking really stupidly vain… ah well, c’est la vie! If you do like this kind of post, do let me know in the comments and I shall try and do some more when I can. Speak soooooon!

Sisterly Style: Balloon, Baby & Blue Hues*

By August 3, 2014 My Style

After my last post’s excitment, I have another super lovely post, and it features somebody who looks a tiny weeny bit like me… and a baby! Zazzy, a personalised jewellery brand asked me to try out their service and to celebrate International Best Friend Day (today!) at the same time, so I’ve wrangled in my sister for a double OOTD!

What bracelet would you design for your BFF… or sister?! Leave a comment…

First let’s do a little introduction to my sister… her name is Saskia, and is also a blogger (at Songs, Silliness & Such), she’s erm… 12 years older than me and definitely counts as a BFF. Saskia is the mummy of little Diggory, my (pretty much) 10 month year old nephew (see his cuteness below). Zazzy asked us both to design bracelets for each other, and we are both obsessed! They’re brilliant quality and are perfect seeing as we are both pretty slim… adjustable bracelets are the best! I find it funny how we both went for gold… read on for why we chose the different symbols!

What I Wore: Crochet Top (Jumble Sale), Noah Noah Tulle Skirts £7.99 (Oxfam), Floral Crown (DIY), Jelly Sandals (Supermarket), Slogan Elastic Bracelets (Claire’s)*, Lip Necklace (ASOS) & Symbol Bracelet (Designed by Saskia @ Zazzy)*

I like the colour blue, and I like green, and I also think purple compliments them both very well, so this outfit seemed just right. Saskia kindly bought her and I matching lip necklaces, and seeing as my bracelet is matching purple, my DIY floral crown tied it all in. I love this little crochet crop top as it’s sort of bohemian, yet it looks funky and bright. My tulle skirts make another appearance of course, and some how feel a bit Hawaiian in this outfit?!

Saskia on Tolly’s bracelet: Ever since Tolly was just a baby we’ve had a very close relationship, with many conversations ending in tears of laughter (or hideous snorts). I choose symbols that would reflect this with the term ‘LOL’ and a cute smiley, and picked the purple chord to go with her blog header (because I know her blog is so important to her). Typically Tolly has said she’s going to use this bracelet as her sarcasm stamp – so don’t get on the wrong side of her or she’ll be holding up wrist for a swift ‘LOL’ ie – you’re not funny. Unfortuantely I think I’ve already been on the receiving end of one… Still love you though, and my bracelet too!

What Saskia Wore: Blue Maxi Dress (Boohoo), Necklaces (Rings & Tings)*, River Island Multi Friendship Bracelet, Spotty Flats (TKMaxx) & Symbol Bracelet (Designed by Tolly @ Zazzy)

At one stage I feel like mine and Saskia’s styles were quite similar…. we both went through a stage of loving aztec prints (I think we did…), but now our styles are completely different. Saskia loves simple pieces with pops of colour, as well as things which are super comfortable, so it’s quite a strong contrast. Although she doesn’t think it, she does have an eye for cute things, for example her spotty shoes she bought from our TKMaxx browse… I love them! They’re super cute, and seeing as they are monochrome, they go with most of her wardrobe. It is a simple outfit, but I like it! Pastel coloured cuteness.

Tolly on Saskia’s bracelet: Just like what Saskia mentioned, we do enjoy a good laugh, so I thought it would be nice for her bracelet to feature lots of smiles and happiness. I think it will be a nice reminder when she’s down (*cough* missing me of course) to just keep smiling. The star was another cute little symbol 🙂 I chose blue because Saskia seems to wear the colour quite often so it will match most of her outfits.

I really enjoyed doing this little outfit post with Saskia! If you want to see more of her make sure to check out her blog and Twitter. Pssst, have you seen my big news? I’m releasing my first collection… say what?! Speak soon!

(This post is not sponsored. Zazzy kindly sent me and Saskia a bracelet to style up, so I decided to do a nice little post featuring them. Read my full PR disclaimer here.)

My Style: A La Plage… To The Beach*

By July 22, 2014 My Style

The other week we popped along to one of my favourite beaches, which is actually a quarry made into an adventure beach, and it’s really quite fun! I wanted to take some snaps of a summery outfit I popped together featuring a few new pieces to my wardrobe, and I hope you like this My Style post as much as I do! A la plage….

What do you like to wear to the beach? Let me know in the comments…my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pommy style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pommy style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pommy style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pomWhat I Wore: Blue Daisy Kimono £18.00 – Now £12.00 (Kylie – M&Co.)*, Striped Top (St. James), Denim Shorts (Jumble Sale), Leopard Converse Hi-Tops €19.99 (Footlocker) & Pom Pom Headband £3.50 (ASOS)

Going to the beach for me is one of the hardest places to dress for. You don’t want to wear too much, or too little, but then you also don’t want to dress completely different to how you usually do… so for this trip, I went for casual, bright and of course a clash of prints. My shorts and top are both comfortable and practical for slipping in and out off, and my new kimono (finally!) is the best cover up, ever. I’m not really sure how this outfit works so well, but it just kinda’ does. I think just putting touches of each colour here and there will make it all tie in, even if the prints are all completely different and a little bit bold.

my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pom my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pom my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pomYou may have noticed in previous posts that I have been dying for a kimono, so when M&Co introduced me to their Kylie range, I went straight for them, and I’m so glad I picked this one! The print is awesome, and it’s the perfect flowy-ness. It’s a lot better quality than I would have thought, and seems pretty versatile even with the bold daisy print. My floral/random crown collection featured this little pom-pom number and the yellow perfectly matches my beautiful new shoes…

my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pom my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pom my style m&co footlocker asos kimono pom pomA couple of days before we headed to the beach, we visited Montpellier near the coast, and one of the shops I happened to pop into was Footlocker. The massive sale was on, and I happened to notice a pair of bright yellow leopard print Converses on the side… expecting them to still be over €30 or €40, I was absolutely stunned to see ‘€19.99 from €74.99’ (less than £16) on the price tag. Mama Posh kindly treated me to them and I am so happy! My first ever pair of Converse, and boy they are gorgeous! Although they are bright, the yellow is the perfect mustard shade which means they are a touch more versatile… what do you think?!

So there we have it! I hope you liked this post as much as I did writing it 🙂 Just to leave you on an exciting note… one of my upcoming posts *fingers crossed* will be an exciting announcement 😀 I’m literally buzzing just thinking of it! Eeee!

A Summer Night In: Create, Read, Wear & Listen*

By July 10, 2014 My Style

Well hello there again. Today I have a post which has been waiting to be made up for so long, and it’s finally here! One day I had a random idea to do a sort of Girls Night In post, where I give you ideas of things to do, or to read etc… but it’s ended being more of a ‘favourites’ post in a slightly different style, but I like it! I’m going to show you some of my fave brands, products etc all in one awesome ‘Summer Night In’ post! I hope it inspires you to just sit back, relax and have a selfish night all to yourself…

One of the best ways to tune out, is to tune in to your favourite music. I’ve been absolutely obsessed with London Grammar‘s latest album ‘If You Wait‘. It’s beautiful, powerful and deep all in one… and it sounds even better when I use my new Skullcandy Knockouts. They are honestly, GORGEOUS! I didn’t think I would like the tan leather, but I was so so wrong about it! I adore them so very much! The first time I saw a pair of Skullcandy headphones was on the bus to school when I was around 6, and have always admired them, so to finally own my very own pair, which are utterly gorgeous, makes me sooo happy! I love the little touches, from the floral case to the embossed ‘Land On Your Feet’ on the headband. Love, love love!

Then of course we need to be looking fine and dandy, and that means getting into my favourite piece of attire… PJs! I absolutely love this combo! Both are 2nd hand actually, but they are still so comfortable and look as good as new! Super duper cute, heh? I love the sparkles too… they make the top that little bit more fun and enjoyable to wear!

I don’t think a nice relaxing evening would be complete without a bit of beauty, so of course it had to be included! Catseye London just released a new range of wash bags, and I must say that I am impressed! The size is perfect for fitting everything you need in, it’s wipe cleanable and it even has a pocket inside… perfect for such products as my Clarin’s Lotus Face Oil! I have been using this in my skincare ‘routine’ (which consists of three products mind you…) and I have to say it’s been working a treat! Who knew an oil could help oily skin?! As a relaxing night should be about indulgence, the Burt’s Bee’s set I have is perfect! I’ve used all 3 of the body products and it feels like you are in a spa. SO relaxing!

For Christmas about four years ago I got this awesome colouring book, and I never really got into it that much… I sort of rushed it a bit and it ended up not being the best it could have been, so when a similar version became mine I was delighted! It might seem weird to like a colouring book, but I promise you it is more than that! I see it as more of a source of inspiration and something to do to pass the time. Plus, this one doesn’t seem to let ink seep through which is a bonus. Add on top of that some gorgeous pens (perfect for designing!), I’m pretty happy! Listening to music whilst doing something like this really does get your creative juices flowing, I even did a doodle on the ‘Tyson Triplus‘ Tumblr blog, see it here!

When you want to zone out completely, or fall asleep as I like to call it, then a good book always does the trick, and Picture Perfect is definitely a good book! It’s witty, the characters are great, it makes you feel sad and happy all in one. A really really nice read and I can’t wait for the fourth book to be released! It’s also very relatable to me, especially Harriet’s character, I couldn’t really say a bad word about it! Highly recommend giving the whole series a read to any of you fellow youngsters/teens 🙂 I also highly recommend Miss Jojangles to anybody and anyone. Jojo has been the nicest of people on the interwebs recently and has really made me feel proud of my little blog. Just like Geek Girl, her blog is whitty and happy. I buy and make way too many… I probably have a fairly small ‘hair crown collection compared to some, but it’s slowly getting bigger month by month… so today I’m here to show you every one I own…

Do you have any floral crowns? Let me know in the comments!

I even made a short and snazzy video (this features all of my collection) to go along with them, aww! I have stretchy, alice band, DIY and pom pom ones so it really is a huge variety! I love them all though, I especially loves the ones I make myself because they are 100% unique to me 🙂 I just think hair accessories can really complete an outfit, especially if it is fairly simple. Plus… on hot days when you’re hair isn’t exactly ‘clean’ they can be the best distraction!

FYI, both the DIY ones are made with false flowers, a hot glue gun and a hair band! So simple to do, it’s just common sense 🙂

This is one of my most recent ones to my collection, and it’s made by moi! I really like it because the flowers are super oversized, and make a pretty cool statement! I added in some greenery I had left over from another floral crown (scroll down…) and I love it! I feel like it is very Frida Khalo-esque and goes with a lot more than you would expect, plus for £2, you can’t really go wrong!

I saw this on ASOS ages and ages ago, it went from £10 to about £8, and then when it finally reached £3 very recently, I decided it was about time it became mine! It’s actually a lot smaller than I had anticipated, but I love it nonetheless. The pom poms are so cute and fluffy and actually look quite retro, so I’m excited to style it up! You could easily DIY this one, but because it was on the site for so long, the price was justifiable in the end!

Claire’s surprised me with a package a while back and inside it was this! I never thought I would like a crown like this because it has a wire band which I tend to stay clear of, but I’m coming around to the idea! I have to say it’s a little awkward to wear, but the colour looks really nice and it should be good for all year round, which is a plus! I think this would look awesome on blonde hair… what do you think?

Another DIY, and probably my most favourite of my collection, is this beauty! I just adore the way it looks! I found the flowers at a market and I have been trying to hunt down the same guy again, but no luck! I think buying false flowers online can be way more expensive, so if you can find a local florist who sells them, then you should definitely get them from there! Also, make sure you get some greenery too, it adds a more realistic touch rather than just a bunch of flowers all in the same colour, I think that’s why this is my favourite!

I hope you liked this post and the pictures… it was so funny doing them haha! Sorry if I don’t update my blog lots and lots over the next few weeks, it’s holiday time now with our family so obviously I’m spending time with them! Thanks so much guys! 🙂

My Style: Wearing Pink On A Wednesday*

By July 2, 2014 My Style

Sorry for the very un-original title of this My Style post, but it’s Wednesday and I’m wearing pink so, it was kind of obligatory… duh. I like this outfit and I hope you do too 🙂 Sorry about the weird blue glow… darn you white balance!  Make sure to leave a comment telling me how you would wear pink on a Wednesday!

I never knew I was a pink kinda’ person, but turns out, I really am. I had to wear my pink taffeta dress because I own no pink skirts… very tempted to make it into a skirt actually, seeing as it’s about 7 years old – no. joke. I love the contrast of the pastel and bright pink though, and the slogan top makes such an awesome statement. Plus, it’s kinda’ ironic, seeing as I’m a fashion blogger and all… lol.  What d’ya think? Too much pink, or just right? I’m thinking the latter, but not sure the French around here would agree.. I changed the dress for some trousers when I went out *hides behind curtains*

It’s adorable! I thought I would prefer the multi-coloured one, but I’m so glad I picked the pink! I also love the gold band… it makes it look a lot more expensive than it was! It’s also a great headband which can be worn with a topknot as it’s just small enough, which is very handy in these warmer months! Oh and FYI, the pool is up and running, and most days I take a dip! Fun, fun, fun!

my style pink on wednesday mean girls outfit lush t-shirts my style pink on wednesday mean girls outfit lush t-shirtsAs I mentioned earlier, this dress is kinda’ on the small side which means my denim shorts have to be worn underneath! I’m a big fan of denim at the moment, and these are again… adorable! I love the little trim and how it pokes out underneath the skirt… cute-ness! Speaking of denim… I really want a denim/acid-wash style drop arm vest with a high neck… anyone know of where to get one? Thanks if you do suggest anywhere!

Due to Primark’s bad packaging, when I pulled the label off the socks, it pulled a thread with it meaning there is now a hole on the bottom. Not very nice! I like them nonetheless though, and it just adds that little bit more pink to the outfit!

I shall speak to you soon! I have some exciting things in the pipeline, which I should be able to tell you about soon! The only hint I can give is that it will be the 2nd time in which one of my goals for 2014 will be coming true! Eeep! 🙂
